LBWID Open House and 50th Anniversary Celebration
On Saturday October 8, 2022, the Lake Barcroft Watershed Improvement District (LBWID) will be hosting an Open House to commemorate Hurricane Agnes and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of LBWID’s beginnings. Members of the community can learn about LBWID’s history and its current role in ensuring that Lake Barcroft will be around for future generations to enjoy. We hope that you will be able to join us for this event and celebrate Lake Barcroft with us. Below is some additional information regarding the event:

Date: October 8, 2022
Time: 10am to 2:30 pm
Location: LBWID Compound (3650 Boat Dock Drive, Falls Church, VA 22041)
Things to do: Dam tours, boat tours of the lake, learn about LBWID history and current operations, meet the LBWID Trustees and staff, check out historic photographs of the lake and dam, kid’s activities, and socialize with friends and neighbors
Food and Refreshments: LBWID will be providing free lunch, dessert, and bottled water.
Parking: Primary parking will be at the Beach 4 parking lot with a shuttle van continually running between the LBWID Compound and Beach 4 from the hours of 10:00am to 2:30pm
Street parking along Boat Dock Drive and Pinetree Terrace is limited.
There will not be any parking inside of the LBWID Compound.
There will not be any space at the LBWID’s dock for pontoon boats.
