Our community: Established in 1950, The Lake Barcroft Association is a wooded private community of over a thousand homes in Falls Church, Virginia whose owners are dues-paying residents in the association. With a strong sense of community, and grateful for a beautiful lake and its wildlife, the community prides itself on many annual events including parades, Independence Day fireworks, with organized and informal social gatherings. As a private community, its common properties, including the lake and picnic areas, are restricted to dues-paying residents, and are not available to the public.

REMINDER! Reduced Lifeguard Staffing Hours for ALL Beaches
Beginning Friday, August 21st: All beaches will close at 7 pm. Beaches 1 & 5 will no longer have lifeguard coverage, including on the weekends. The remaining guarded beaches will continue to be staffed based on lifeguard availability.
Beginning Monday, August 24th: All beaches will open at 11 am on weekdays. All beaches will continue to close at 7 pm.
Our Water Safety staff will continue to provide as much lifeguard coverage as possible at the remaining beaches through Labor Day. Please remember that swimming at a beach without a lifeguard on duty is at your own risk and is NOT recommended.
