Labor Day Games

When: September 4th - Labor Day - from 10 AM - 4 PM

Where: Beach 3

Why: It's a Lake Barcroft tradition! Let's have some fun!

What to Bring: Your 2023 LBA Beach Tag, Cash/credit to purchase food, sunscreen and towels

9:00 - Set up on Beach 3

    Jessica and Zeke Hall: Help moving things from the trailer onto the beach, set up race course

    Sam Cleetus, Sara Franco and family: Build the penny pile and hide pennies (please bring shovels)

10:00 - Check in table opens

    Kaye Kory, Linda Haake, Holly Schneider: Register for swimming race, paddle races, sand castle teams (please bring small table and chairs)

11:00 -  Fun race: Course starts at Beach 3, goes up Stoneybrae, turns right on Crosswoods, down to Waterway, around Half Moon Circle and back down to Beach 3 to finish. 

     Race spotters: Adele Neuberg, Loida Velilla, Natalie Brawner at intersections of Stoneybrae and Crosswoods, Crosswoods and Waterway, Waterway and Half Moon Circle

11:00 - 12:30: Sand Castle Building: Janet Kerley and Charlotte Flounders

11:30 - Penny pile: (8 and under, 9 to 12): Suzanne Bond, Wendy Diliberti, Jenny Alvarez

11:30 - 1:30 Tattoo table: Wanda Martinson, Kathy Utgoff, Randa Mendenhall

12:00 - Races begin: Diane Kilbourne, Larry Hoffer, Adrian Farley, Kevin       Kampschroer (8 and under, 9 - 12, 13 and above. Go by the youngest in a pair)

 1:45 - Swimmers called to gather at the dock to be transported to B 2 (Kevin to give safety talk to swimmers): George Waters, Roxanna Douglas to transport swimmers

2:00 - Swim races from B 2 to B 3: (12 and under, 13 - 18, 19 and above, seniors 65+)

        Pontoon boats to transport to Beach 2: George Waters, Roxanna Douglas

        Pontoon boats for safety: Trippi Penland, Mo Bloom

      Spotters on Beach 2: Ashraf Bhagat, Jenny Alvarez

      Spotters on Beach 3: Nazir Bhagat, Kevin Kampschroer

2:30 - Kayak and SUP races from B 2 to B 3 (kayaks and SUP’s separated: under 12 and 12 and up)

3:00 - Tug of War
