The LBA Board of Directors has finalized the date of the meeting when the LBA membership will vote on the proposal to transfer ownership of the Dam and Parcel 165 to the LBWID. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 11th from 7 - 8 PM at the Belvedere Elementary School Cafeteria (6540 Columbia Pike). If you are unable to attend this meeting to vote on the matter in person, there will be an option to submit an absentee vote prior to the meeting. The option to submit your vote via absentee voting will start when you receive your ballot in the mail (around November 20th) and close on December 6th. Every active LBA member will receive an invitation to the membership meeting and a ballot in the mail with instructions on how to vote. Please be on the lookout for this around mid-November.
The LBA recently held its second informational session on the proposal to transfer ownership of the Dam and Parcel 165 to the LBWID. We had a good number of the community come out to this meeting in person to ask questions and hear the presentation on this important proposal and upcoming vote.
