June 21st, 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of Hurricane Agnes and the terrible breach of the dam that took place on that day in 1972. The storm's impact was so devastating that within 10 hours, the entire lake was emptied of all water. You can learn more about this impactful historical event by clicking HERE.
